AFCOM invites submissions from all those involved in data center/operations management and support, including vendors, to share their knowledge and present at upcoming Data Center World conferences. (Please read Entry Guidelines below)

Spring 2009 Data Center World Speaker Information
Thank you for presenting at Data Center World. The speaker information below contains deadlines and important information.

Speaker Conference Registration and Expenses:
1. All speakers are responsible for hotel, air, and travel requirements, as well
as any travel-related expenses such as meals (that are not included with
your registration).
2. Primary speakers will receive a complimentary conference registration and
will be automatically registered for the conference.
3. Secondary speakers will receive a $200 discount off the registration fee if
attending the full conference. Please call Conference Services to register
at (714) 997-7966. If not attending the full conference, secondary speakers
will receive a temporary badge for session only.
4. All other speakers, if not registered for the full conference, will receive a
temporary badge for session only.
Session Information:
1. Educational sessions run Monday, October 5 through Wednesday, October 7. Each session is one hour in length and speakers are required to fill the entire hour, including 15 minutes for Q&A at the end of session.
2. Educational speakers are required to be available all three days as you may be requested to present twice.
3. Date and location of your session will be released 4-6 weeks prior to the conference.
4. Special requests must be submitted in writing by June 6, 2009 and are not guaranteed.
5. Tutorial sessions run Sunday, October 4 from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Tutorial sessions shall run for five hours and will need to have enough material to cover that time period and allow sufficient time for Q&A. The session must be purely educational with no reference made to a specific product or company.
6. Virtual Data Center Tours run Sunday, October 4, from 2:30 to 3:30pm and 3:45 to 4:45pm. These tours will need to have enough material to cover that time period and allow sufficient time for Q&A. The session must be purely educational with no reference made to a specific product or company.
