Data Center Tour 1: L.L. Bean Builds a Green Data Center  **SOLD OUT**
Rocko Graziano, Manager of Infrastructure Operations and Services
Last summer, L.L. Bean broke ground on an 18,000-square-foot data center to support projected business growth and the space needs driven by a self-supporting business continuity strategy.  Company policy dictates that all new construction adhere to the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification standards—an interesting challenge for a stand-alone computing facility.  Come and learn how L.L. Bean and its design partner, the id Group from Boston, Mass., tackled the LEED challenge, and take a tour of a construction project nearing completion.

Data Center Tour 2: Tour the Miami Network Access Point of the Americas
**SOLD OUT**

Ben Stewart, Sr. VP Facility Engineering,   Terremark Worldwide, Inc.
The Network Access Point (NAP) of the Americas is a 750,000-square-foot carrier neutral
collocation center located in downtown Miami.  This highly visual presentation will define a NAP, show how it is hardened against hurricanes and protected in a dense urban environment. Attendees will learn how managed services such as Internet peering, global top-level domain services and zero-mile connectivity are delivered and will tour the implementation of a rotary UPS system and use of chilled water from a municipal utility.
